our process
No matter the scale of your project the design process can be daunting, here at Nest & Needle we like to kkep it simple with our three-steps process.
Our design process begins with conceptualization and nailing down a direction for the overall design. Having a strong concept is the foundation for beautiful and cohesive design. We love getting inspired and really sharing this process with you. Magazine clippings, Pinterest boards, and lots of other outlets serve as great resources for inspiration. We compile everything to create a conceptual presentation.
Once we have your approval on the conecpts and design direction the fun begins!! We build your space into a 3D scaled model including all lighting and finish materials.This process ties together the conepts and your actual space. This is a great visualization tool to see how the overall design comes together. This is especially helpful for major renovations, new builds, and all of us who need a little reassurance.
After the rendering process and all designs and finishes has been approved, we move into the implementation phase. During this phase we gather all technical drawings and specifications to bring your beautiful conceptual design to life. This phase also inlcudes project managemnent and working with our contractor to ensure that all design details are executed correctly and follow guidelines detailed in construction documents
We would love to meet you in person to discuss and review your project!! This will give us an idea of how much time it will take to design, and we can create a scope of work.
After the initial consultation, we will compile our notes and pictures and create a scope of work. From this scope of work, we will write a proposal of the time it will take to complete your project.
Once the proposal has been approved, we will begin your design.
